about Class 6

  • Beautiful hull – really beautiful
  • This is the most exciting design I have seen – If it were in the water and it performs like it looks – I would buy it !
  • If it sails like it looks … it will be amazing
  • Spine concept is very compelling
  • Good visibility from helm position but this layout needs work to accommodate instruments, winches and the helm in a really elegant, usable manner – it is all possible but needs to be proven
  • Because the helm position is so far forward it makes the boat feel smaller and therefore very manageable – it has given me confidence that I can manage this boat on my own
  • Long transoms provide terrific bathing, access to water toys and protection for dingy
  • It has a forward cockpit but with all the sail controls back at the helm – this is a winning formulae – I would have more drain holes
  • Small main sail and huge forward sails – a good formulae
  • Opportunity for sun deck on the bimini roof – very good idea
  • Loads of room for loads of solar – very good
  • Very good storage opportunities – a real load carrier – very good
  • Lots of room in the hulls to do everything we want with lots of space – freedom to make our own choices
  • Lots of room to have a perfect cockpit and saloon – freedom to make our own choices
  • Interior finishing is yet to be proven

  • Boat is performant atany wind angle even with light winds
  • Combines performance with comfort
  • Having a watermaker onboard is a clear plus and new solar panels are helping a lot – no need to run engines to charge batteries
  • Boat is really designed to be handled without a crew.
  • Steering system with gearbox gives a perfect steering wheel feeling.
  • Carbon canoe boom with rotative mast is fantastic
  • I was concerned with the tender lifting mechanism but this is ok with experience
